Shotwick Lake Sailing Club Flintshire UK|
Boon Boats GRP Solo with all usual continuous controls.
Built: 24/01/08. Sail Number: 4859
Generally in good condition, a few bumps and minor scratches as befitting the age of the boat. Up until lockdown it was in regular use at Shotwick Lake Sailing Club, Flintshire, where it is stored out of the water when not in use.
Righting lines and over cover.
2 North sails, (one with no sail numbers), both in good condition.
All controls are continuous to side decks on port and starboard. Full controls: Kicker, Cunningham, Outhaul, Inhaul, traveller, centreboard uphaul / downhaul
Adjustable Padded Toe Straps
Foils in a reasonably good condition, again a few nicks here and there.
Padded rudder bag
Proctor D+ mast.
Comes with combi trailer, (I haven’t used the road trailer - the dinghy is stored on it at the sailing club).
Based at Shotwick Lake Sailing Club, Weighbridge Road, Deeside Industrial Estate, Flintshire. CH5 2LL
• I don’t use the inhaul, the continuous control line is in place but the rigging to the mast is not.
• The launching trolley has solid rubber wheels, (I was getting fed up with repairing punctures and/or pumping up the tyres). I have a set of ”normal” inflatable wheels if wanted.
• I purchased the boat in situ from a member of the sailing club so I haven’t used the road trailer, ( I don’t have a tow bar). I can’t confirm whether the inbuilt wiring/lights/indicators function. It all looks sound but as yet untested.
• All the details provided are in good faith and honest. I‘m 65 and have enjoyed sailing a dinghy for 15 years, (I was a late starter and still learning). However following lockdown I no longer feel able to continue single handed sailing and may be looking to crew for someone, hence the reluctant sale.
