Crickhowell Powys UK|
Willow Warbler has been a much loved member of our family for the past twenty years. A 60’ traditional narrowboat, she is spacious enough to live aboard or for use as a holiday home. Currently moored in a beautiful location, in the Brecon Beacons, Wales ( current mooring fee is £247 pcm) she is available with or without her mooring and we can be moved anywhere in the UK.
She is for sale with a current ‘Out of Water Boat Survey’ carried out in November 2019 ( less than 6 months ago) by an Independent Boat Surveyor, as required by our insurance company. All recommended actions were carried out to the satisfaction of the surveyor. She also has a current Boat Safety Certificate which is renewable Sept 2021.
The exterior was re painted in 2014 and the hull has been blacked regularly, the last occasion being in 2019. anodes were added when needed. There is both 240 and 12 volt electricity available with several sockets inside the boat whilst she also has a Vitron 2500 Inverter with 4 x12 volt leisure batteries.
Willow Warbler is very spacious, beautifully presented and has large windows that make her very light inside; whilst the Morso Squirrel wood burning stove and Alde Central heating ensure constant warmth when it is cold outside.
There is a permanent king-sized bed in the bedroom at the end ( see layout photo) and a double sofa bed in the main saloon. There are also two large wardrobes in the bedroom.
There is both hot and cold running water to the sink in the galley as well as to the basin in the separate bathroom. There is also a BATH and a shower in the bathroom, with room to also put a washing machine. One was previously plumbed in. The water to the two sinks is heated by a Morco water heater.
The open plan galley comprises: a Shoreline fridge-freezer ( 89 and 29 litre capacities) a Vanette 4 burner hob and an oven with a grill. There is also a sink with both hot and cold water and a breakfast bar which seats two.
She is currently moored in the beautiful Brecon Beacons in Wales, and has the benefit of stunning views of both 'Table Top' & 'Sugar Loaf' Mountains. The mooring ( if wanted ) enjoys the peace and tranquillity of a small, rural farm with its fabulous facilities including power showers, toilets, washing machine and tumbler drier plus decking from which to enjoy the views.
