Formerly a Mast-Head Rig and rescued by Rupert Holmes (PBO) and was featured as a PBO project boat in 2009/10.
3 times competitor in Quarter Ton Cup
3 years as a project boat since 2015-18. sail 2018/19 Dry stored since.
New, heavier, keel - moved aft to original de Ridder specs
New mast and boom - 7/8th rig - Selden, twin spreader, excellent condition, keel-stepped, foot moved forward to the original de Ridder fractional specs.
New Rudder - spade, transom-hung, ash tiller, spinlock extension
Sails - black laminate all One Sails - used only a handful of times - excellent' condition and shape.
Main with one reef, loose-footed.
2 x non-overlapping foresails - No1 and flatter/heavier No2.
Storm jib - all hanked.
Superb new Hyde AP kite and launch bag.
All new standing and dyneema running rigging, Selden spi pole ends.
2 x lightweight, unbreakable refurbed/serviced Barlow 20 2-speed winches
All systems re-designed, fittings top quality Harken/Selden etc - kicker both sides, jib barber-haul (in and out) and spinnaker tweakers.
New dyneema backstay 48:1 with flicker
2018 IRC .888 (still in Corinthian Class for QTC/Cowes Week) and VPRS .879
Shrouds plates upgraded and moved fully outboard

New cushions and cooker (2 burner Origo alcohol stove) in neat galley area.
All extraneous weight removed leaving plenty of storage space for sails/engine and access to all fittings....which have been mostly replaced and-sealed.
New s/s O/B bracket - 3.5 Parsun 4-stroke - just serviced.
New hatches and windows fitted and re-sealed.

Completely different boat from previous incarnations - handles superbly - even with novice crew, has won races in Poole against proven opposition.
Simple rib bulkheads and open-plan layout with her wide beam make for lots of room down below- also coach-roof gives good head room.
Plywood and epoxy decks keeps cab warm in winter/cool in summer.
Bunks can convert to a double bed. I did use it a weekday live-aboard when working in Poole.....very comfortable all year round.
Yard cradle/bogie also available.
Only selling (very reluctantly) as I have moved place of work.
A very efficient way into the exclusive QT circuit.
