This is a boat where dreams can be turned into reality. When you step aboard you feel that you should have a dry martini in your hand with your Aston Martin parked in the marina car park!
She is fast and furious but a slower speed is more than manageable in tight marina spaces just using the centre engine. There is an enourmous amount of space for lounging in the cockpit, great for summer evening cocktails.
The accommodation has a large cabin forward with a double berth and 2 settee berths in the main saloon, which has a nifty galley to port and access to the heads on the starboard side.

What a boat! older she may be but don't let that put you off, especially if a spot of fishing in all weather or a weekend base to escape to appeals. Lovingly restored by her current owner the boat benefits from a long list of improvements.
Externally the aft deck floors have been replaced with a tough self draining design, the cuddy windows and frame work have also been strengthened and upgraded. The anchor locker has been enlarged- now big enough to store all warps, fenders, miscellaneous fishing gear etc. Extra bright work lights have been fitted to the bow and stern for early morning, l... read more
Thirty plus years of building substantial, practical, and achingly beautiful small dayboats means that Character Boats of Lancashire have got something right at least.
With more than a nod to the historic working craft of the N West coast of England and Scotland, these 'plastic gaffers' are anything but 'naffer', and I say that as the grand nephew of a Morecambe bay fisherman. My earliest and best childhood holidays were spent in his piratical company, he even had a peg leg, and trips out in his wooden boat were the highlight of those yesteryear hols!
Our example here is in excellent order... read more
